THIS MEANS THAT THE LATCH BOLT CAN BE USED FOR LEFT OR RIGHT HUNG DOORS.
THE LOCK COMES COMPLETE WITH STRIKER PLATE AND SCREWS



The 76mm LOCK HAS A 57mm BACKSET
(THE BACKSET IS THE DISTANCE FROM THE EDGE OF THE LOCK TO THE CENTRE OF THE SPINDLE)

THERE IS A TOP SQUARE HOLE (CALLED THE TOP FOLLOWER)
WHICH THE 8MM SQUARE SPINDLE (SQUARE METAL ROD) FROM THE BATHROOM HANDLES WILL GO THROUGH.

THERE IS A LOWER SQUARE HOLE(CALLED THE LOWER FOLLOWER)
WHICH ENABLES THE 5MM SQUARE SPINDLE ON THE BATHROOM THUMB AND TURN TO GO THROUGH.

THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE TOP AND LOWER FOLLOWERS IS 57MM.
