How to change your Cylinders/Locks

How to change your Cylinders/Locks

With our quick 'How To Guide' you can find the tools needed to change your locks in your home/work space in under 10 minutes.

Before you begin, make sure you have a screwdriver and ruler at hand.

1.
Start by removing the retaining screw located on the inside of the door.

2. Next, you will need to insert your key into your lock and turn it slightly to line up the cam that's located in the centre of the cylinder. Once thats done,  gently pull and wiggle the lock to remove from the socket.

3. Finally, using your ruler or our measuring guide template, measure the cylinder starting from the centre screw hole pin to get each Internal and External size (INT/EXT).

Done! Now you have all that you need to order a new lock and the skills to change it over.

Tip. Don't forget you can have a 'Keyed Alike' option, meaning you can use the same key on multiple locks.
